Frankly, get near a pack, poison nova, then watch green things die. Lower resists can be very helpful, as they can break immunities (NOTE: Someone correct me if I am wrong, I have to admit I took a long break from the game and could be having my mind play tricks on me). Poisonmancer is also quite common, abuses the poison nova (occasionally poison dagger to get rid of the poison immunes). The build leaves you enough points spare to place where you deem appropriate. Curse everything with amplify damage (decrepify on act bosses), and if you want extra speed (most do), corpse explosion. Basically, just walk around with your own private army of skeletons, revives, and let's not forget one hireling and one golem. Summonmancer/skellemancer/fishymancer is very common, very safe, but the kill speed can be lower than other alternatives. it was an experiment that became that plays just like a fishymancer but lazier as you will only need to CE if the mob is large enough that they are still alive after getting them all amped then you could use CE to finish them off. Don't judge my bad taste in eq it was 90% self found as I didn't dump items into this character (not that I had anything great). my merc used a insight bill, eth upgraded boneflesh w/ 15 ias jewel, tal rashas helm w/ 15 ias jewel. I had a lore shako, bramble dusk shroud, edge edge bow, rare boots gloves rings with high fire and lightning resist. I believe a Might merc would increase the damage per second. I guess the only reason I was using a prayer merc was for healing minions just because I was lazy and didn't want to keep summoning them. I used just enough str to equip items and the rest went into vitality. I maxed Raise Skeleton, Summon Mastery, Skeleton Mage (just for more targets for enemies and a miniscule amount of added damage), was maxing fire golem (to draw in mobs and provide a little more aoe damage), I don't remember exactly but several points into summon resist, 1 point into amp and prereqs as well as decrep.
