

EndNote platformsĮndNote desktop is a program for collecting and organizing references from online or other sources. This is a licensed (subscription) product, so you need to download it from the library in order to gain full access to the software. This version is accessible by those whose institution has a subscription to the Web of Science.EndNote is available for all Rutgers affiliated students, faculty, and staff.

There are two levels of EndNote basic access: EndNote basic users can create an online library with up to 50,000 references and up to 2GB of attachments.

EndNote basicĮndNote basic is a more limited reference management EndNote Web account only available online. Their online library can contain an unlimited number of references and attachments. When used on the desktop, it may be called "EndNote desktop" or "EndNote on the desktop." When used from a web browser, it may be called "EndNote online" or "EndNote Web." EndNote versions X8, X9 and 20 users can synchronize all the references in one desktop library to their online library and share the entire library with other EndNote versions X8, X9 or 20 users. EndNote™ is a reference management solution with both a desktop and online component.
